As a kid, I wanted to be a photographer and veterinarian. I got my first real camera in 6th grade and maybe that tipped the scales. In college, I marched with the Aristocrat of Bands at TSU and earned a Masters degree in Animal Science, but photography was always in my blood. I honed my skills and racked up my 10,000+ hours in order to bring you an expert eye with a professional process to make your next photography experience your best yet!

I adore images that tell a story and give an eyeful of emotion. My detail-oriented ways help me capture small, seemingly ordinary moments of life that reveal the beautiful extraordinary. I make people super comfortable in front of the camera so that the photo shoot becomes an extension of who you are. In addition to the kiss and first dance and posed portraits, I'll find the in-between images that are the true magic of visual storytelling.

Expect to have fun. I'm serious about making great images, and I've learned that creating an easy-going atmosphere is key. Let me obsess over the visual details. We'll work together to set goals and create a shot list. When appropriate, I'll tell you exactly what to do. Other times, I'll be the unobtrusive guide quietly composing. I'll also capture those impromptu images of perfection.
